Barre, Pilates, Yoga Studio

Small group personal training provides individual attention to execute movements safely and effectively to maximize results. 

Class sizes are super small (maximum 4 people) to receive the attention needed to fully experience the range of movements. Each work station is at least 2m apart to keep social distancing. All props are sanitized before and after each class. Clean cloth masks and gloves are provided, if desired.

Barre Pilates

This class combines functional Barre-style strength exercises with Pilates mat movements, creating a class promoting proper alignment, balance, and strength in our bodies. 

First half of class features my dynamic style of Barre, the last half focuses on Pilates core exercises (think abs, butts, thighs!).

With a focus on improving balance, endurance, flexibility, stability, and strength, barre effectively creates healthy, strong, and lean highly functional bodies.

All movements have modifications and challenges so you can make your workout as gentle or hard as you need.

Functional Barre HIIT

This high energy class incorporates large range of motion exercise and small isolated movements that elevates heart rate, challenges both upper and lower body, and makes every minute count.

Woven throughout the workout are low impact, with high impact options, cardio bursts to maximize calorie burn and to strengthen heart and lungs.

With a focus on improving balance, endurance, flexibility, stability, and strength, barre effectively creates healthy, strong, and lean highly functional bodies.

Pilates Fit

This class is beginner to intermediate level. I provide many layers for each movement so all can be successful.

Pilates Fit is also good for those working with chronic pain or injuries. I work with and around current injuries and needs of each participant. 

Pilates Fit is my innovative program design that strengthens the whole body using functional strength movements and combining Pilates exercises to build core stability from the inside out. Building strong and lean bodies while creating balance in the muscles to ease pain and discomfort. 

Pilates Fit with Props

This class is for advanced beginners to intermediate practitioners. I provide many layers for each movement so all can be successful.

Pilates Fit with Props is very similar to Pilates Fit, however, we use props to intensity the movements.

Fit Flow

Looking for an athletic style of yoga where you can safely and properly build strength and endurance in your practice?

Fit Flow is a dynamic barefoot combo of strengthening isometric holds, lengthening stretching poses, core empowering movements, and cardio bursts.

Fit Flow exercises create a beautiful balance between mobility and stability within the body. Add mindfully breathing through movement to reduce stress, and you've got an amazing workout program that will leave you feeling invigorated, inspired, and rejuvenated.

The fit aspect creates the strength and stability needed in our bodies, while the stretching poses create length, and the core exercises build stability in our powerhouse, cardio bursts provide a heart and lung strengthener while burning more calories.

Candlelight Slow Flow

Need help winding down after a long day? Feeling tight and sore and need to lengthen short muscles?

This class is all about active recovery and stress release. 

Class starts with slow flowing yoga-style movements, heads into yin-style yoga poses with longer holds to gently get the muscles to relax and lengthen.

Each class focuses on a common area of tension, and we will gently release one tight point of tension using soft self-myofasical release balls.

We finish with some calming and restful restorative poses. 

Inner Strength Training (IST)

The classes are designed with the Inner Strength Training (IST) method. 

IST is about honouring where your body is at and giving it what it needs - a balanced health regime.  It’s about creating a strong and balanced body from the inside out. Working our supporting intrinsic muscles helps stabilize the body's foundation, so that our extrinsic muscles (the surface “power” muscles) can do their job properly and purposefully.  The IST method works both your intrinsic and extrinsic muscles for a whole body approach to strength and cardio training. While reaching your desired weight is important if that is your goal, IST is challenging, however, is it not about arduously struggling to obtain an impossibly perfect body shape, it’s about creating strong, supported, balanced bodies that can function and move with freedom and ease.
