8-week Functional Barre HIIT Program

Want a super fun, yet highly effective way, to work out? Then my Barre classes are the answer!

Functional Barre HIIT incorporates large range of motion exercises and small isolated movements that elevates heart rate, challenges both upper and lower body, and makes every minute count. Woven throughout the workout are low impact, with high impact options, cardio bursts to maximize calorie burn and to strength heart and lungs. With a focus on improving balance, endurance, flexibility, stability, and strength, barre effectively creates healthy, strong, and lean highly functional bodies. 

All movements have modifications and challenges so you can make your workout as gentle or hard as you need. 

What is included:

  • 45min pre-recorded workouts lead by Amy that are released each week, totalling 8 workouts
  • helpful health and fitness lessons offered each week as "homework"
  • mobile app to access all your workouts to carry with you anywhere you go, on any device

You can perform the workouts without the recommended equipment below, but if you would like to maximize your results I advise purchasing a few supplies:

Equipment needed:

  • 1 set of light hand weights (1-3lbs)
  • 1 set of medium hand weights (4-6lbs)
  • 12" mini loop bands
  • 8" mini pilates ball (can be a cheap child's ball from the dollar store)
  • 2 glider discs (or simply a tea towel for floors and a paper plate for carpets)
  • Yoga sticky mat
